Use titles that consider branding and sharability. When a user sees your title it should be something that sounds interesting to that person, that they want to read. Not something they click on because it has the same keyword that they searched for.
Use a CTA
Use a call-to-action in your meta-description with practically no focus on keywords. just as with the title the meta-description should compel the user to read.
Write for People, not Robots
This should be a no-brainer, but there are still plenty of “experts” out there who will tell you to write for the search engines crawlers. I would always advise against this, while you can write with the search engine in mind, remember the person who conducted the search is trying to solve a real problem.

Do everything you can to lower your page speed and load time.
Use social badges so users can share your website or blog post easily on social media.
Update, Update, Update
Try to regularly update your blog content with information that is timely and relevant. For example, a blog post about how to best use myspace for your business isn’t going to be relevant to anybody…except maybe Tom.
Make sure you have a real address, phone number, and featured badges which let your reader know you are a legitimate business.
As much as possible incorporate real testimonials, real case studies and real customers experiences into your website. This will help turn browsers into buyers and eventually help decrease the bounce rate.
